Destinations

Tanzania is home to some of the most diverse and unique places in the world. The beautiful landscapes and interesting collection of birds and animals pack this country with wildness, amusement, and a lot of fun. All of the Tanzania Destinations when taken together as a whole can be broadly classified into four distinct zones or circuits. These are:

  1. Northern Circuit. Northern part of Tanzania undoubtedly is the best part of this country, and this can be evident by the fact that majority of tourist coming to Tanzania flock to the national parks located in the northern circuit. Mount Kilimanjaro, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti are just some of the jewels of northern Tanzania and the reason for such interest in this particular area.
  2. Southern Circuit. The southern part of Tanzania comprises the largest chunk of safari park reserves in the country. And it is remote, visited by fewer tourists. In some of the parks of the southern circuit, you’ll feel like you’re the only one in here and the entire landmass is to your own to explore.
  3. Eastern Circuit. This part of Tanzania proffers another fascinating safari experience with its own unique features. This area diverges from the usual land safaris and delves more into the marine side of things. Dar Es Saalam, Saadani National Park are just some of the places which are becoming a hot destination along the coast of Indian Ocean.
  4. Western Circuit. The Gombe Stream National Park and Mahale National Park located in the western circuit of Tanzania are significant for their mighty primate population, but are even more remote than the southern circuit and receives way less travelers. This part also has great floral importance, most of the species of which are endemic.
